Erwin notices Levi's kisses, but he doesn't have the capacity to respond to them until Levi reaches his mouth. That gets Erwin's attention, at least part of it, and he gamely kisses him back.
Slowly, the world is creeping back in. The aftershocks of his orgasm are dying away, and Erwin focuses his eyes down the length of his nose so he can see Levi.
"Yes." His breath comes out in a rumbling sigh. "Still with you. Always."
With that, Erwin slowly crumples over onto his right side, landing next to Levi on the bed. Even as content and empty-headed as he is right now, he knows Levi wouldn't want him falling on him and spreading his come around.
He tries to make that collapse a little easier, guiding him down and shuffling pillows around so as not to put too much pressure on the stump. Eventually, one-handed himself (because he can't touch anything until he's clean, and that needs to be soon, holding the soiled hand a little away form himself and focusing on Erwin more than the voice in his head telling him to scrub), he gets Erwin situated more comfortably. Sitting beside him, he drops a soft kiss to the top of his head, brushing blonde hair away from his face with his clean hand.
"Feel better?" Levi asks quietly, looking down at him. He...looks better. Relaxed, in a very different way than he has previously.
Fortunately, Erwin only touched Levi and the bed sheets with his hand, so he assumes it's still clean enough for Levi's standards. He reaches up and snags Levi's hand when he touches his hair, bringing it to his mouth so he can kiss his knuckles.
Erwin makes a long, affirmative humming noise in response to Levi's question before looking up at him with hazy, blissed out eyes. "Yes." He presses another kiss to Levi's hand before releasing him. "Go get cleaned up, then come back?"
Levi did the dirty work today and got splattered, and Erwin knows that must be bothering him. Hopefully his washing won't take long and he can come back and cuddle for awhile afterwards, before Erwin falls asleep.
For just a moment more, Levi gazes at him, letting the sight of Erwin relaxed and content sink into his memory. Sex hasn't mattered to them up to this point, apparently might not have even been possible if it had, but he's glad that despite their mutual fumbling, he's glad that they managed to make it work and he could give Erwin this.
Something almost like a smile flickers on his face before he leans in and drops a soft, grateful kiss to Erwin's forehead.
"Okay..." Another follows for good measure, as he mumbles into blonde hair. "Thanks." He doesn't need permission to go, but it's everything just to have that understanding even so.
He slips away, glancing back at Erwin once with an unreadable expression and a funny feeling in his chest, and goes to wash. He'd prefer a shower, but even with his expedited routine, he doesn't want to keep Erwin waiting too long. So he just scrubs thoroughly at all of his skin, strips his remaining clothing to wash and pulls on something more comfortable - one of Erwin's shirts, in fact, buttoned only halfway.
Eventually, Levi returns to Erwin - his Commander, his lover, his husband - bringing a warm damp cloth in case there's anything he missed, and offers it as he settles next to him on the bed, half propped with pillows against the headboard.
While Levi is busy cleaning up, Erwin slips into a light doze while he enjoys the afterglow. It's the warm towel in his hand that rousts him, and he smiles sleepily up at Levi as he dabs at his chest. It's a half-hearted effort at best--he trusts Levi to have gotten the mess earlier, but he'll still make a few token passes before using a corner of the cloth to dry himself off.
"Hi." Levi, what are you doing leaning against the headboard? Erwin reaches for him, with the clear intent to pull him down and against his chest.
He just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything leftover, because it would be a rude awakening to realize what that is in the middle of the night when he's actually trying to sleep.
So fine, he sets it off to the side with their shirts - he can wash everything later - and lets Erwin tug him down. He'd had more intention to wait until Erwin fell asleep and then go about his night until he is actually ready for bed...
...but no, this is nice, especially because it's become no secret between them that he loves to bury his face in Erwin's chest. Which he does now, happily, and holds him close.
That would be gross, and Erwin will be thankful for Levi's diligence later on. Right now, he's too floppy and warm and delightfully empty-headed to really care.
Erwin makes a soft, happy purring sound when Levi joins him, and he wraps his arm tight around Levi's shoulders. He's well aware that Levi will probably get up and do other things for awhile, but Erwin appreciates him sticking around as he drifts off. This time, Levi shouldn't be too inconvenienced; Erwin can already feel sleep tugging him down.
"Should do that again sometime." He plants a kiss on the top of Levi's head.
This is certainly more familiar ground. That sound tingles pleasantly down his spine in a contented sort of way, and Levi leaves a few kisses to Erwin's chest and collar bones, snuggling closer. Now, skin on skin and the warmth of it feels soothing, enough that he might doze a little himself. Levi tangles their legs, scratches fondly at a place between Erwin's shoulder blades, and just hums softly in agreement.
